Reason for optimism

Passing yards - QB in top 5 (Kyle Orton)
Rushing yards - 2RB in top 5 (Thomas Jones & Adrian Peterson)
Receiving yards - WR in top 5 (Mark Bradley)

I KNOW IT IS PRESEASON, BUT....

If the Bears put in Kyle Orton for good, and they continue to stay away from the injury bug, a .500 record is not out of the question. The new Bears brass is not as pigheaded and stubborn as the old Bears brass, so it is feasible that they will start Kyle Orton now.

Too bad they hadn't made this move two games ago, so we could see Orton in extended play with the first team instead of 1 or 2 series in a throw away game.

Well, now that Kyle is in for good... we can see what our offense can do with the revamped offensive line. True, had they made the move two games ago, we would have a good grasp of Kyle's abilities. Right now, we can only go on the limited time that he has spent against second stringers...
